Whenever I listen to this song, I remember his broken guitar string.
The blues legend continued to sing while trying to fix the string.

I like that one too. I also didn't realise that it's one of the first uses of the word "L7" (meaning "square") in the lyrics - Paul McCartney also uses the word in the Wings song C Moon;

Edit: just listened to the rest of Cream's "Goodbye" album. Really excellent musicianship even if some the tracks went on a bit ("I'm So Glad" especially). I much prefer Clapton from this era to his later "Slowhand" days.
