First of all, read and contemplate the forum rules.

After that search for "Install virtualbox guest additions". It has benn discussed a coupleof times here and is desvribed many times on the net.

When you in terminal change user to superuser, never use "sudo su"!!

Change user and make it a login shell for superuser, so you dont get roots filepermission on your own files"

Use:

$ sudo su --login

It can be shortened to "sudo su -l" or "sudo su -".

Re: I install BunsenLabs in Virtualbox, which is installed in Windows.

The installer says it can not find kernel headers. If you had done the search, you would have found:

# apt install build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r)

After that, run the installer again.

Virtualbox manual is also good reading: https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04. … ions-linux

Re: I install BunsenLabs in Virtualbox, which is installed in Windows.

According to your screendump, the system says that virtual box guest additions started.
So, does services like Shared clipboard and shared folders now work for you?

Maybe you shold edit the subject line to: "Install virtual box guest additions"?

Transferring the copied to the clipboard does not work. I do not mind renaming the topic. About the shared folder we discuss the issue in the next topic https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?pid=98198 .

If shared clipboard does not work, you will probably not get shared folders to work.

About the shared folder we discuss the issue in the next topic https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?pid=98198 .

Try not to spread related subjets in different threads...

But, maybe you shold start all over agin. You have more broken parts. You do not have latetst certificate, you can not install some packages.

I recomed you try install Lithium dev, så you get more recent packages.

You have installed Virtualbox 5.2.24, from stretch-backports? If you install lithium, you can install 6.1.4 from Virtualbox repo. (Works also on debian oldstable - 9)

Re: I install BunsenLabs in Virtualbox, which is installed in Windows.

During the installation of the operating system, the question was asked if I want to connect the option of the dipositories, which will make it possible to download the latest updates. I agreed and this option was established. That is, it meant that the latest updates are not always fully tested.

I gave an example screenshot in another topic about certificates. I do not know what conclusion I should draw about what was displayed there.
https://s8.hostingkartinok.com/uploads/ … 89703f.png

During the installation, it was clear that some parts of the distribution kit were improperly made and this is what causes the error to be displayed in the form that a novice user sees during installation. And that in some cases this may not be due to the fact that the installation did not work correctly due to a failure in the Internet connection. Thus, I don’t want to reinstall right now, maybe someone else will appear on the forum who will confirm or deny this assumption.

You was asked if you wanted to enable backports repository.

I agreed and this option was established. That is, it meant that the latest updates are not always fully tested.

Backports for oldstable, is fully tested at this time!

I gave an example screenshot in another topic about certificates. I do not know what conclusion I should draw about what was displayed there.
https://s8.hostingkartinok.com/uploads/ … 89703f.png

ca-certificates (20161130+nmu1+deb9u1), is not from backports repo! It is from oldstable section main.

During the installation, it was clear that some parts of the distribution kit were improperly made and this is what causes the error to be displayed in the form that a novice user sees during installation.

The Helium installation is based on Debian. The only rror, is the message "Unable to mount /media..." if i remember correct. Thet error has no negativ effect. You have not before mentioned that you think the installation iso is broken. You have not shown any error messanges about that.
If you reinstall, use graphichal installer. Then you can use te tool to take a screenshot. The button is in the left lower corner.

You have shown error that seems to origin from the bl-welcome skript, that runs after installation, on the first login. (Can be manually run later).

And that in some cases this may not be due to the fact that the installation did not work correctly due to a failure in the Internet connection. Thus, I don’t want to reinstall right now, maybe someone else will appear on the forum who will confirm or deny this assumption.

Assumption based on little knowledge can easaly misslead.  Practise is a good teacher. Reinstalling, is good practise and gives more knowledge.

I don’t know which version of the guest add-on can be installed from the Linux repositories of this distribution. In AntiX, something like this is included in the distribution and is downloaded from the dipositories. The guest folder works immediately after installation. But I ran into problems there. I could not mount the disk drive. Although in the training video on installing the guest add-on in an older version, everything is fine. And in AntiX Firefox works with brakes. It is much faster here.

I took the guest add-on from the version for Windows. Virtualbox there has version 5.x. I could not install 6.x because I work in Windows XP. And version 6.x is not installed on it.

Re: I install BunsenLabs in Virtualbox, which is installed in Windows.

Yes, now I remembered that the dialog in which I saw errors had messages about the possibility of starting the installation later. I took some screenshots of these windows. That was there, if I remember correctly where it was proposed to install the server. I am currently studying other programming languages and I will probably use this option later, since there is little space on the hard disk and I need to save it. And in order to reinstall completely on a flash drive, so far there is no time for this.

Re: I install BunsenLabs in Virtualbox, which is installed in Windows.

Can the operating system Bunsenlabs installed in Virtualbox be transferred to a bootable USB flash drive in order to have more computer resources by booting from it?

The oldstable repo has package "virtualbox-guest-additions-iso (5.2.24-1~bpo9+2)" The version numbering is the same s virtualbox in backports.

In AntiX, something like this is included in the distribution and is downloaded from the dipositories.

As in Debian...

I could not install 6.x because I work in Windows XP. And version 6.x is not installed on it.

But, it is 6 years since Micro$oft ended support for XP! No mote securitypatches for that vulnerable OS! Do backup of all data and make an sole installation of Lithium!

Updates in Windows XP did not end six years ago. This was explained to people so that they bought other operating systems.

After installing guest additions and rebooting, the Firefox browser began to glitch and slow down significantly.

And the next thing you did was search for others who have had the same problem. And then told us what you have done to try and fix it. Or would you like us to guess?

I did not do anything else on this operating system. I deleted it. I have installed the Ubuntu  server so far. Perhaps in the future I will install your development again.
