Libreoffice help fails...

Hi everyone.
This is my first bug report...

I'm using lithium, and it's going great.
However, there is a detail with libreoffice:

The help (both from the menu and from the keyboard shortcut) is not working.
Instead of opening the browser with the help content, geany opens with the code xml (I think it's xml language).

Is it me, or is it a detail to improve in lithium?

Thanks in advance.

It may be you - I am not seeing that problem.

Check in the file manager that you haven't set "Files of type html etc" to be opened with Geany as default.

Also check out this recent thread: Webpage links open "Thunderbird"

You can use the gio mime  command to investigate a default registered application, although I don't know enough to say if it is relevant in your situation. For example

$ gio mime application/xhtml+xml
Default application for “application/xhtml+xml”: userapp-Pale Moon-7HCLF0.desktop
Registered applications:
	userapp-Pale Moon-7HCLF0.desktop
	palemoon.desktop
	firefox-esr.desktop
	bl-www-browser.desktop
	bl-text-editor.desktop
	geany.desktop
	bl-cli-editor.desktop
	libreoffice-writer.desktop
Recommended applications:
	userapp-Pale Moon-7HCLF0.desktop
	palemoon.desktop
	firefox-esr.desktop
	bl-www-browser.desktop

Re: Libreoffice help fails...

Also, have you installed one of the Libreoffice Help packages? For example, for British English, libreoffice-help-en-gb

Which? LibreOffice Help or posting on the forum, or both?
