Hi!
I am a new user of Bunsenlabs. I can run an audio CD opening it manually in VLC Media Player but I can't find how to make it run automatically when I insert the CD.
Thanks for your help

^This is in Thunar, the file manager by the way, not VLC, and you want the [Multimedia] tab.
I'm using mpv now, but I think the command I used for vlc was 'vlc cdda://'

it ahould at least open the media player.
are you sure you cd drive and the cd in question work at all???
and "doesn't work" is never a good problem description

Hi!
hahaha Yes, that's right... "doesn't work" is not very descriptive. After inserting the CDs the media player doesn't even open. But I can play the CDs when I load them manually on the media player.

This works fine for me. I used the following commands, for audio CDs:
vlc cdda://
and for DVDs:
vlc dvd://
The following thread may be useful for those having problems, it explains how to start Thunar as a daemon: https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=4847
Both steps (Thunar daemon and Thunar preferences) are necessary for autorun if Thunar isn't open.
