Losses trackpad tap

Hi there,

It appears that my trackpad losses its tap after waking up from suspend state. Sorry, I don't know where to begin to troubleshoot this issue.

I searched the forum, one closely related to this issue is : https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=512

So when I issue this grep command, I got the following:
grep "TouchPad: buttons:" /var/log/Xorg.0.log
[    15.736] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: buttons: left right double triple
[  7179.232] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: buttons: left right double triple
[  7180.580] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: buttons: left right double triple

Many Thanks!

how does the conky screenshot thread relate to your issue?

So when I issue this grep command, I got the following:
grep "TouchPad: buttons:" /var/log/Xorg.0.log
[    15.736] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: buttons: left right double triple
[  7179.232] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: buttons: left right double triple
[  7180.580] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: buttons: left right double triple

are you sure the timestamps correspond to suspending/ waking up?
we need a little context around this, and frankly i'd widen the search a little.
maybe:

grep synaptics /var/log/Xorg.0.log

edit:
have you tried manually reloading the synaptics driver after waking up?
