full head of hair
You're kidding right. I started 'gaining' forehead in my late 20's when a 'hairless hole' on the crown of my head started appearing. My forehead continued to grow right into the hole - now it's a grey/white horseshoe around the back from each 'sideburn' that goes down to a beard and moustache.
Almost like I could use your avatar as well.

@ Sector11: Now there's the pot calling the kettle black! I wake up from a nice snooze and who's sacked out in the chair across from me, snoring away like a bandsaw run amok! S11 himself!!! ]:D

The place is so quiet it's like dead men walking....

Dead men walking as in the 2005 film or the 1995 film?
Either way I guess it's better than The Walking Dead.
I guess our snoring chased everyone away.

There was a Larry McMurtry novel called Dead Man's Walk.

Well, this morning I abseiled over the top of a 200' Cornish sea cliff, all on my own, in torrential rain and a howling gale, carrying a crowbar! (Yesterday I couldn't retrieve a piece of costly climbing protection).
I got it out of the crack, though not before some deep breathing, counting to 10, and convincing myself that I've been in worse situations many times before.
I think that I'm not as young as I used to be, and I DESERVE a snooze by the fire! I'm now by the fire, and about to have the snooze

Any of you American and Canadian oldtimers remember the "Howdy Doody Show" or the "Andy Devine Show" for kids during the early to mid-1950s? If so, who were your favorite characters? On Howdy Doody, I liked that old grump, Phineas T. Bluster. As for Andy Devine, there was no frog like Froggy!

HEY! I remember Howdy Doody. Can't say I remember any of the characters though.
Andy Devine is someone I'll never forget, not so much for Andy's Gang but for "Jingles" with Wild Bill or "Cookie" with Roy Rogers. Saw him just the other night in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence on TCM. Really brought back memories. Andy, while not appreciated back then, was a big part of my youth. Once heard, one can never forget or mistake that voice!
{sigh} ain't nostalgia wonderful.
