Open the config file and follow the instructions, ~/.config/bl-exit/bl-exitrc

#     To switch to the classic button layout, you can now set the 'theme'
#     entry in the [theme] section to 'classic'

You can change the size by editing/creating new styles anyway.

They won't if (when?) we go to flat themes and icons

I know it is a matter of taste, but it fits perfectly with my flat OB/gtk themes and icons.

To customize your bl-exit after the new version has arrived:

cp -r /etc/bl-exit ~/.config
bl-text-editor ~/.config/bl-exit/bl-exitrc

and read the comments.

To go back to the way bl-exit was before the upgrade, find line 126 and change it to

theme = classic

I access my installation remotely using "Remote Desktop Connection" on my laptop running the 10th version of that unmentionable OS. I was a little surprised when I went to log out and got the new exit menu. I was confused for a moment by the size and the lack of text. I am a bear of very little brain and although I figured it out after a few moments, I don't think I would like to use it all the time, so it is nice to have a way to opt in and out of that configuration.

I haven't tried it yet but it may be useful when accessing the remote desktop with my tablet since the screen is so small, I might just give it a go.

Eventually, but with the remote session the hover is a little off and on, so I don't tend to expect to see it.

The keyboard shortcuts only work for the "classic" theme. Is it possible to enable them for the gui bl-exit?

I'm with @Sardog on this. I'd like to have the text on the buttons along with the icons. If there is a way, beyond just adding the text to the images, it is a little unclear from the config file.

That said, it is a nice refresh.

you know you don't have to use that exit dialog, right?
it is possible to integrate the commands into the openbox menu proper.
works with both keyboard and mouse.

some folks say you're more likely to accidentally hit that, but i've been using it like that forever and it never happened.
