What the title says.
Also the update to the exit looks fantastic.

Is it possible to roll back to the original?
Yes. I have to go now, but have a look in the config file. You can set "classic" somewhere.

I see something at the end of /usr/bin/bl-exit, referencing Blexit & BlexitMerlin relative to theming.
If you could let me know where to switch to classic, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
GM
Open the config file and follow the instructions, ~/.config/bl-exit/bl-exitrc
# To switch to the classic button layout, you can now set the 'theme'
# entry in the [theme] section to 'classic'
You can change the size by editing/creating new styles anyway.
Example....

Sorry guys & gals, but I'm just not a fan of the new exit menu. It's much too big & the graphics look out of place with the rest of the distro.

They won't if (when?) we go to flat themes and icons
I know it is a matter of taste, but it fits perfectly with my flat OB/gtk themes and icons.

I personally think the new exit looks amazing.

Another nice feature is that you can use your own icons/images

Maybe another approach could have been to keep the defaults, then release the new graphics at the same time a new snapshot is offered.
Or maybe something like you get sometimes with an updated Debian package during its setup:
apt-listchanges: News
---------------------
chromium-browser (55.0.2883.75-4) unstable; urgency=medium
* External extensions are now disabled by default. Chromium will only load
extensions that are explicitly specified with the --load-extension command
line option passed into CHROMIUM_FLAGS. See the chromium-lwn4chrome
package for an example of how to do this.
* You can also use the --enable-remote-extensions command line argument to
chromium, which will bypass this restriction.

openssl (1.1.0c-3) unstable; urgency=medium
The openssl enc command changed the default digest (used to create the key
from passphrase) from MD5 to SHA256 since the version 1.1.0. The digest can
be specified with the -md option.

To customize your bl-exit after the new version has arrived:
cp -r /etc/bl-exit ~/.config
bl-text-editor ~/.config/bl-exit/bl-exitrc
and read the comments.
To go back to the way bl-exit was before the upgrade, find line 126 and change it to
theme = classic

Thanks for the hints on how to edit bl-exit. Here is the result.

I access my installation remotely using "Remote Desktop Connection" on my laptop running the 10th version of that unmentionable OS. I was a little surprised when I went to log out and got the new exit menu. I was confused for a moment by the size and the lack of text. I am a bear of very little brain and although I figured it out after a few moments, I don't think I would like to use it all the time, so it is nice to have a way to opt in and out of that configuration.
I haven't tried it yet but it may be useful when accessing the remote desktop with my tablet since the screen is so small, I might just give it a go.

^ Did you notice that there is a small text popup if you hover the cursor on a button?

Eventually, but with the remote session the hover is a little off and on, so I don't tend to expect to see it.

The keyboard shortcuts only work for the "classic" theme. Is it possible to enable them for the gui bl-exit?

I'm with @Sardog on this. I'd like to have the text on the buttons along with the icons. If there is a way, beyond just adding the text to the images, it is a little unclear from the config file.
That said, it is a nice refresh.

you know you don't have to use that exit dialog, right?
it is possible to integrate the commands into the openbox menu proper.
works with both keyboard and mouse.
some folks say you're more likely to accidentally hit that, but i've been using it like that forever and it never happened.
