What are you talking about, the font for the login screen (light-locker/lightdm-gtk-greeter), or are you running xscreensaver and it's displaying its own ugly login box?

in case it's this, i'm about 99% sure that that can be changed via ~/.Xresources.
are you familiar with that file?
i haven't tried it though and it probably doesn't support xft fonts (antialiased).

iirc, teh author talks about /usr/share/X11/app-defaults/XScreenSaver - you can look at that file and copy the relevant entries to ~/.Xresources, but you also have to make sure that ~/.Xresources gets sourced at login, usually with "xrdb -merge ~/.Xresources.

bl_velvet_noise_wallpaper_by_temetka it is a desktop wallpaper and the same as the BL logo up top of this page.

Ah, not screensaver but wallpaper, the BunsenLabs logo by Ututo. It's a combination of Open Sans regular and bold...

In the interest of full disclosure, there are variations. The logo on the forums is the original version, the logo at bunsenlabs.org is the "official" version which uses a less bold style, and damo's default wallpapers use normal font-weight and he distinguishes the words by color only.

You can make your own easily enough - install GIMP and add text to the background of choice.

jonboy, i'm sure you didn't mean anything bad by it, but it is really against netiquette to so radically change your first post, after the discussion already started.

edits should always be additions, and never completely replace a post. especially if others are refering to that post, and their replies become totally meaningless after the edit.

I only edited it to add [SOLVED] on title, but i see what you mean i think you thought i was on about the screen saver in context in what hhh said, i thought i might of said screensaver so put my bad, but just re-reading it, ^^

I'm resurrecting an ancient thread, but seems better than adding to what's already here and also in this thread.

What's the official font used for BunsenLabs as we head into 2025? And is there a transparent watermark/logo image running around that we can use? I'd like to contribute to the BunsenLabs DeviantArt account
