@damo. Thanks a bunch. I should have known better, but haven't installed BL yet... dammit, going for it right now. Downloading.

NB...

# Conkys must be in $CONKYPATH
# The name must end with "conky" or "conkyrc"

In BunsenLabs...

2 seconds with jessie nonfree Mate Live and it's bliss.

Screenshot_1.jpg

Flippin' PulseAudio and BL, it works perfectly for me under Mate. It's Xfce that's not playing nice in Bunsen, I think.

BunsenLabs without BunsenLabs in Live mode. Own gtk theme, still not perfect. Power icon not showing yet, but found how to get it to show. Old #! tile as the wallpaper. Automagical Applications menu. Just playing around...

Nice, I'm glad to see you trademarked that FettPhone.  Gotta get in before Apple decides they "invented" it.

GNOME 3.18

screen_Fetch_2015_10_07_19_00_47.jpg

Boots up with ~250MiB used (only about 70MiB more than #!) and is as snappy as a pool full of alligators.

It's the new combined notification and calender window for GNOME shell (just click on the clock).

And yes, it's gorgeous -- only problem is that it makes my Debian jessie 3.14 desktop look a bit shabby...
