Love me some Opeth Damnation, Döbbie03. Brilliant musicians, those guys - my bro-in-law met them, very chill guys, too. Got mad respect for 'em.
I've been enjoying a little Castle Rat - The Bestiary as of late.
Fun medieval fantasy doom. Call me biased, but I'm partial to "Wizard" - go figure. ![]()
Just a dude playing a dude, disguised as another dude...

Awesome, btw. I'm loving the flanger on the first track.

The mix is a ten out of ten. Great stereo separation, no track jumps out awkwardly, the guitar solos are just loud enough, the drums are slightly muted, which I like here. There's like no upper bass/lower mid-range so the double bass-drum pedals cut through clear as a bell, very slick. Track 5, Lion's Den, for example. Bass thunder and a very polite snare and ride cymbal.
Sworn to the Black is all of this thrown into a Beatles/Rush fusion machine.
I'm very superficial, I hate anything official. - Chrissie Hynde
