My main OS, GNOME on trixie. I'd love to know what this wallpaper's font is...
@chroot, if you try GNOME again, add this to /etc/environment and reboot...
GNOME_SHELL_SLOWDOWN_FACTOR=2I find that takes the jankiness (glitch) out of the animations and makes for a mellow desktop.
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Thanks for the info. Will try it later

^ Rainy. Same here, we need the rain.
Thanks to @malm, who took my request for more labwc scrots and made my scrot the first of the existing gallery...

@unklar - been a while since I've done anything with hatchery. There is a line in one of the config files that calls the image; might actually be an environment variable. As I recall, change that line to change the default image.
Pretty sure it is in the quickshell configs.
Edit - Yes it is.
There is a logo section in the ~/.config/quickshell configuration file. You can change the default image there. I think you can also comment out that section and then use swaybg (or some other wayland wallpaper app) to set the wallpaper from the mango config file.
Hatchery live session. Debian stable, mangowc, quickshell:
Void, fluxbox, kitty terminal, feh
You must unlearn what you have learned.

^^Thank you, PackRat. ![]()
I had already commented out the line, but it didn't work.
Now it's adjusted properly and OK. ![]()
Some things often seem illogical.
e.g. these changes in two files. In Rofi I cannot change the theme (it is not saved).
Then I tried Fuzzel. It's ok in the bar upstairs. But not with Alt+p.
Keepassxc with the browser integration, on the other hand, works great. ![]()
