Yes, I was on North Stradbroke Island (a.k.a Minjerribah). Took my 4x4 and camper trailer. Fun week

It's quite remote in terms of accessibility, even though it's only accoss Moreton Bay from Brisbane. There's no phone service, barely get FM radio from the mainland, however we do rough it on the eastern side of the island. If you 'camp' on the western side or northern end you can get all the mod cons.

ATM the southern end (even rougher) is pretty much inaccessible by vehicle since Cyclone Alfred in March.

It's a sand island, much like Fraser, but smaller.
