But why is your file manager named Rachael?
Because @hhh likes to use names from some of his favorite movies. Blade Runner in this instance.
@hhh - nice setup.
You must unlearn what you have learned.

Thank you. *cough* Blade Runner. If you're not Cop, you're little people. And you got it right, on this box I'm rachael@tyrell-corp. To quote Eldon Tyrell... "Rachael is an experiment, nothing more. We began to realize in them... a strange obsession."
As to how I got that layout for Thunar...
xfconf-query --channel thunar --property /misc-window-title-style --create --type string --set THUNAR_WINDOW_TITLE_STYLE_FOLDER_NAME_WITHOUT_THUNAR_SUFFIX
Restart Thunar or logout/login. 4 possible settings...
THUNAR_WINDOW_TITLE_STYLE_FOLDER_NAME_WITH_THUNAR_SUFFIX (default)
THUNAR_WINDOW_TITLE_STYLE_FOLDER_NAME_WITHOUT_THUNAR_SUFFIX
THUNAR_WINDOW_TITLE_STYLE_FULL_PATH_WITH_THUNAR_SUFFIX
THUNAR_WINDOW_TITLE_STYLE_FULL_PATH_WITHOUT_THUNAR_SUFFIX

Oh, and Fn 9 to toggle the side pane.
No, he can't sleep on the floor. What do you think I'm yelling for?!!!

Yes, sorry, for clarity that is a virtual machine running the Grml live ISO from my Chimera Linux GNOME desktop.
Grml now automatically adjusts the desktop resolution to match the available window size when running in a VM, which is really nice. I wish I knew how they did that, deadbang users have to log out & back in again to trigger a resize.
