Nice -- is that the Debian menu?

I have gotten really lazy with my menus -- I use XFCE with alacarte to trim out the superfluous entries...

Not exactly. Debian menu is heavy. Places lot of files in lot of places, and most of these files are unnecessary. This obamenu is just a python script and is only 6.9 kb, and lives in my .config folder. I can do whatever I want with it, that is 'tweak' it. The #! menu and the Bunsen menu are user created menus, where one can 'tweak' whatever one wants.

My gtkrc is kinda quick junk i edited on top of another theme.
I only really need it for alt-menus and open dialog boxes to match my theme.

What's the pager/desktop indicator you're using? tint2 have a new feature, or is that something residing in the system tray?

My new Debian jessie GNOME system -- installed into a btrfs subvolume (using debootstrap) on my main Arch system and booted using systemd-boot with Secure Boot enabled.

As it's part of my Arch filesystem (within the btrfs partition), the disk space is shared completely between the two systems without having to juggle with partition sizes and the Debian system can be booted as a systemd-nspawn container from my running Arch system.

cool

Re: October 2015 Screenshots

A new build I am working on. I am thinking about doing an entirely new theme/conky etc for this one. Finally got the hardware built and up and running in BunsenLabs.

Edit: Forgot to add this is a Bunsid install. It was the only way I could get all this newfangled hardware working.

Those are two tint2 panels and adeskbar for apps launcher. I put them all togather so they look like one single panel. I'm just using tint2 pager capability as desktop indicator. You can grab the config file from here. And the rest of the panel from here. I know files are a mess, I use them for trial and error big_smile

Nice sshot, BTW.
