Nah just use those special Bunsen burners you mentioned.  I am really happy, the laptop actually stays cool and doesn't shut down due to over heating.  Fantastic.

Nice -- is that the Debian menu?

I have gotten really lazy with my menus -- I use XFCE with alacarte to trim out the superfluous entries...

Not exactly. Debian menu is heavy. Places lot of files in lot of places, and most of these files are unnecessary. This obamenu is just a python script and is only 6.9 kb, and lives in my .config folder. I can do whatever I want with it, that is 'tweak' it. The #! menu and the Bunsen menu are user created menus, where one can 'tweak' whatever one wants.

My gtkrc is kinda quick junk i edited on top of another theme.
I only really need it for alt-menus and open dialog boxes to match my theme.
