Video rather than a picture but did you know cuttlefish wave to each other?

^ When this video is played to cuttlefish they will wave back :-)

EDIT: some evidence they are also communicating with sound as well as their magnificent colour displays, which could be used for a form of communication with a bandwidth orders of magnitude higher than our primitive speech & language.

^^^Love me some duckies, they're my favorite birds.
Not gonna post a pic because there's too many to choose from, i'm just gonna say do an image search for "pallas cat kittens" and be prepared for an overdose of adorable. ![]()

^ Birds are freaking flying dinosaurs and the only thing cats are good for is killing them.
/sarcasm
I love kitties. Birds, not so much. Pea-brained flying dinosaurs with talons. Steel your fries/chips at the beach. Government surveillance drones. And peacocks, don't get me started on peacocks.
Huh, not very cheery there, hhh. ![]()
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

^Can confirm the beach snack-stealing. Some local kites are very good at this.

And if you ever visit Liverpool watch out for the massive seagulls, they'll steal your lunch every time...

^ Not cheery, that's a flying dinosaur, government-surveillance programmed drone. They're easily programmed because of their pea brains. The chip stealing is just a cover for them grabbing your facial recognition.

That's a red fox. We have a family of them in the trees behind us. In my neck of the woods, when they clear a lot to build they leave a strip of woods between lots for city right of way and property line markers. The wildlife uses them as game trails. Our property sits about half-way between two small chicken ranches, so we have a family of fox living nearby.
You must unlearn what you have learned.

"Doggo" was a small joke, although male foxes are called dogs (according to Wikipedia). Females are called vixens and the cubs are called kits. Doggos and kitties! ![]()
This pic is the banner for the Virginia Dept. of Wildlife Resources' webpage on red foxes, it would make a nice wallpaper...

Been a month and a half since I took these, about time I posted...
North Hutchinson Island, FL...

Harbor Point Park along the Indian River lagoon, Ft. Pierce, FL. I saw porpoises, the heads of juvenile loggerhead turtles and the backs of young manatees here. I'm sitting on a park bench for this shot...
