This song has haunted me ever since I first heard it ~40 years ago.

Upgraded my Rock Pi S music server to the new v1.3 board so I can run Debian bookworm on it.
Testing it with some soul classics:
Thriller, by Michael Jackson.
Talking Book, by Stevie Wonder.
Otis Blue, by Otis Reading (mono version).
All streamed from qobuz.com, they sound amazing.
EDIT: lovely minimal system on that board:
$ pstree
runit─┬─mpd───5*[{mpd}]
├─runsvdir─┬─runsv───sshd───sshd───sshd───mksh-static───pstree
│ ├─runsv
│ └─runsv───cron
├─syslog-ng───syslog-ng───{syslog-ng}
├─systemd-udevd
└─upmpdcli───16*[{upmpdcli}]
$Nice to see bookworm still works with runit as PID1. Support even seems to have improved since I got it kicked out of the init metapackage just before the bullseye release. EDIT2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79DijItQXMM

Still with Roy Harper, this is from his rock period in the mid-1970s.

I couldn't sleep. I listened to a lot of Linda Ronstadt, Lloyd Green, and Daryle Singletary.

^ Well, I'll listen to it tomorrow, but why wouldn't I give it a listen? Other than the creepy Moby/Natalie Portman thing.
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

I was going by your having said in the past that you don;t like Moby. I don't like everything he's gone but I think his best stuff is really good; there are some interesting ambient mixes of Moby tracks on Youtune and elsewhere as well.
(Currently listening to: "Wait For Me", ambient version);

^ Maybe it's the recording but his vocals on that live version of Porcelain are amazingly underwhelming.

^ I'm surprised he actually used a band/backup vocalist/electric string section, but from the quality I can't tell if it's all 'lipsynced'.
I love good downtempo, but Moby is the kind where you hear it a couple of times and you don't hear anything new in it. Same with Boards of Canada (shoutout to deadmau5 Bored of Canada). It's not that I don't like it, I just find more to listen to in stuff like Groove Armada, K&D, Massive Attack, Djihan and Kamien, etc...
I did like that last link of yours, C.P.

She's playing keyboard bass with her left hand, look up other live sets where she's playing bass with organ foot pedals.
