Swedish, yes. Bottleneck John sounds great to me but I did not grow up with blues so I was curious.

Re: What do you listen to - Internet streaming a.k.a radio and such?

Today I checked the default radio stations in the new version of Radiotray-NG v0.2.9 and found a station that I didn't have:
https://github.com/ebruck/radiotray-ng/ … marks.json

It's Soft Rock  as part of the Pop/Rock group.

Stream:

https://gold.streamguys1.com/softrock.mp3

Added to my radiotray-ng bookmarks (Pop/Rock) above Indie Pop Rocks:

~/.config/radiotray-ng/bookmarks.json  file:

			{
				"name" : "Soft Rock",
				"url" : "https://gold.streamguys1.com/softrock.mp3"
			},

Then:
Radiotray-NG popup menu > Preferences > Reload Bookmarks.

^Interface very similar to Radio Garden. Couldn't wrangle noscript and ublockorigin to let any of the stations actually play though.

^ There is 'share' icon (the one with 3 dots) which will reveal direct url to the stream (and copy/paste to your preferred radio app).

Now listening to Mcot Radio Buriram 92.0 FM. smile

Just for reference, I had to:
In noscript, enable worldsradio.com and radio-browser.info.
Turn off Ublock Origin for www.worldsradio.com.
Click on the dot on the map for the station to open popup.
In popup click the "share" icon labelled "Download Stream".
In the SHOUTcast Administrator window that opens, pick the url from the "Listen" link. (The "Stream URL" link is broken in Firefox or Chromium.)
Paste the URL into a terminal for mpv, checked OK, paste into Radiotray-NG's bookmark editor.

Success!

And @Bronto thanks for another nice music source. Do you think there are many overlaps with Radio Garden?

Re: What do you listen to - Internet streaming a.k.a radio and such?

Radio stream URL search engine

I found something that works fine in Firefox:
https://streamurl.link

streamurl.png

Then I typed classic rock  into the search box:

classic-rock.png

Select a radio station, click the green copy button and paste where you want.

Done, you have a stream URL.
Open your favorite media player (or radio app) and try a new radio station.

EDIT
Today I added a few stations (blues, country, rock, classic rock) to the RadioTrayNG bookmarks and tonight's testing looks great.

One radio station (of many) I found thanks to the Radio stream URL search engine is amazing:

Majestic Jukebox Radio
https://www.majesticjukeboxradio.com

Stream URL:

https://manager6.streamradio.fr:1100/stream

Lots of good music in one place:

Majestic Jukebox Radio wrote:

EASY LISTENING OLDIES - JAZZ - SWING - ROCK'n'ROLL  BLUES - COUNTRY-DOO WOP-BIG BAND and many more...
ONLY THE VERSION WITH THE BEST SOUND QUALITY

I can confirm.
I didn't try adding it to radiotray-ng bookmarks, I just tested https://fmstream.org/ in the browser.

The Radio stream URL search engine  gave me a usable Stream URL:

http://listen.113.fm/bluesville.m3u

Boot Liquor station on SomaFM quite a bit. It's also an app on our Roku TV so sometimes the whole house is playing it, lol.

That works in radiotray-ng - thanks!
(And playing some good music.)

While playing, mpv showed this alternative url which also works:
