Our garden, Monday morning - soon melted, but there's more to come apparently:

^@bronto I took the liberty of switching the thumbnail to large, hope you don't mind. It's a beautiful pic!

@all don't forget large images are OK on this thread (within reason of course).

Re: Cheery Pic of the Day

^ Top notch camping, I'm very jealous!

I camped in one of the prettiest parks around me (1 mile away, a fifteen minute or less bicycle ride) for a short time tonight. It was about 21:00 and about 24 C° (or 9 PM and 75 F° where I live, but America is weird like that). Given the darkness, the poor phone-camera quality and the difficult lighting (a bright streetlamp just right of frame, if I had included it the whole shot would be bleached), this came out great, even though it looks nothing like what I was actually seeing...

And yes, this will be a wall and I will theme it. 24 C° on New Years Eve after dark. If this is global warming, bring it!

^ Unimpressed, but very statuesque.

I particularly like how the fireworks look ready to douse themselves in the birds' water dish. That's eco-friendly right there.

Call the headquarters. Tonight we'll transfer a new group of unvaccinated into the forest.

I could be misinterpreting you here, but my first reaction is "Jesus Jebus dude, chill the fuck fig-not-in-season out!" I've been fully vaccinated since May or June. Of 2020. And who the fuck fingerling potato is sleekmason infecting there? There's not a person around for miles, I bet, and it's outdoors. Hey, @sleek, don't sneeze directly on people by the campfire and we're all good.

The nature looks the same like here. Only when it's not winter. There was some snow in the beginning of December and all melted. Currently 6°C.
Hope there will be snow on New Year's Eve 13th of this month.

Normal conversation, nice. Not winter here in Charleston yet, yes. Not even close. Apparently nice in parts of Arkansas as well.

Yeah I remember in the early CrunchBang days there was plent of swearing and no-one cared. Times change, but the basic point I suppose is not to hurl abuse at a person. So "I really fucked up there" is OK but "f**k off!" is not. OTOH a continuous stream of blasphemy can get a bit wearing... everything in moderation.

...including moderation.

Well said, and I'll try and refrain from a continuous stream. Is that really how we spell continuous? Holy French, Barman!

A very warm, even hot weekend here...
