I've just confirmed the "unsigned" message.
Maybe it's related to the server maintainance on 3rd Oct?

I'll ask @nobody.

What if you add "[trusted=yes]" to the apt repo entry in sources.list as a workaround till key is fixed? Is this possible with newest versions of apt?
eg:
...
deb [trusted=yes] https://kelaino.bunsenlabs.org/.....

But there are no recent upgrades in Kelaino at the moment anyway.
I'm chipping away at the code on GitHub, but don't plan any package upgrades till mid-October at the earliest.
This issue will affect new installs of course, but I expect a fix will come soonish.

Adding [trusted=yes] does mitigate "the repository is not signed", but doesn't change the "403 forbidden" error.
It seems to me that the kelaino repository has had its access permissions changed and that is why the user machines are unable to verify if it is signed or not, as well as them being able to access it for updates.
I have commented out this repository on my machine for the time being so that apt can continue to get Debian packages from upstream.

That may be a very good possibility, so maybe there will be a fix forthcoming. However as Johnraff noted above there has not been any new updates in Kelaino so it should be OK to temporarily disable it.

Nice and I believe the key issue was fixed by @nobody so looks like Kelaino repo is working again.

Yes, it was a small config change during the recent server upgrade, and @nobody has dealt with it.

The download links for the iso images in the op does not work, probably because they are very outdated. Could be a good be a good idea to do an update of them.

Yes, use the latest "unofficial" non-free live images...

I'll update the OP, thanks.

Yup, the dev repo is 100% functional now.
And yes, use the unofficial netinstaller with firmware, esp. if you have a laptop and like wifi.

So it turns out you can't do a Debian Bullseye -> Devuan Chimaera repo swap on a dev Beryllium setup, neither can you install bunsen-meta-all on Devuan 4 (dbus-user-session dependency). I did some high-quality science last night.

But you can then cherry pick the parts of BL that do work in Devuan. The BL meta-all package pulls in everything for BL.
Think d-u-s has a dependency on Systemd which is verboten in Devuan...
You would have to do a pure Devuan setup at first, then manually install the BL metapackages that do work.

That's where I'm heading, but it was late last night.

FWIW you might have good luck using MX. I have tested it with success. On the 19 release of antiX BL also worked. You might find these of some value (they're free and worth almost every penny of that charge):

That's a very minimal implementation of systemd that should allow bunsen-meta-all to be installable. Has this one been tested?

I didn't try it. Doesn't mean I won't soon, though!

I saw that post in the MX forums...
The Debian Installer still makes me happier than the MX installer or even Calamares does. 'S why I keep gravitating back to BL.
