Re: Themes and Icons

^ Nice theme. But for the openbox menu, the inactive test color matched the background and the highlighted text is really dark.

Re: Themes and Icons

^Juno looks very nice indeed. A matching OpenBox theme would need to be written though.

Re: Themes and Icons

^ strange, I cannot see the colour variants from the screenshot, it's only 1 theme, and I also see no "change color" script or some such...

Re: Themes and Icons

Such as one variant theme i see too, I think the author have collected different themes in one photo if am not mistaken.
They look like Sweet, 2nd Nordic and 3rd Juno

That EliverLara man have too many themes, I believe that they are separated from each other and not as in the picture.

^ Thanks for the info! Sweet does not seem to fit for me, but I'll test Nordic.

Re: Themes and Icons

Nordic uses the Nord color theme recently brought to our attention by nakeDeb. Love this color theme and have a project in mind for it.

8bit

edit: Notice what effect the background has on those two examples of the color theme. 2e3440 almost looks black against the white background. And the snowstorm looks like the same color against the dark background, helped by the fact they're not toughing each other.

From the battery executor for tint2 here: https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=7327

Made up a colored .png pack and changed the config to use .png here:
https://github.com/sleekmason/Themes

Fairly simple with just a few colors.

YW, so far i have downloaded Ant, Juno, Kimi, Kripton, Nordic, Snow and Sweet

All of ^those themes i use combined in different apps through wm config.
seample:

env GTK_THEME=Sweet:dark spacefm
env GTK_THEME=Nordic:dark x-www-browser
env GTK_THEME=Ant:dark Geany

So, each apps opens with a different theme. To me, there is no need to even use a theme manager at all.
GTK3 Theme base: /home/username/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini

By all those themes, i mostly enjoy Nordic, Kimi and Juno.
