Make the red on the clock "dimmer" and then: The right.

Red is my least favourite colour.  big_smile

Re: Show us your conky

^^ & ^  I like the left more but would make the blue-grey darker.

BTW: Where did you get this LCDish font from? All I ever found are unusable for stuff like that because the don't .. you know... line up.

Re: Show us your conky

The font is:

LED_mono

the line to do that is:

${goto 13}${color1}88:88:88${goto 13}${color2}${time %T}${color}

Change ${got xx} and ${color x} to your choice.

cannot remember where I got it and searching doesn't seem to help.  sad

EDIT:  OK, sent via email

Re: Show us your conky

^I play with Conky  smile

Maybe I have forgotten something. This is supposed to happen in "old age"...  big_smile

Therefore I put this once as a riddle task before Christmas here.
It is about this picture marked with red in the Conky.
eES8ytVt.png

If I call the script for the picture in this Conky, then
it appears, but is not refreshed according to the preset time in the interwall.
In the responsible directory, however, the image is always present updated.

...
${texeci 1200 bash $HOME/.conky/ragaEUR/neige.sh}${image $HOME/.conky/ConkySatMap/satir-1.png -p 20,490 -s 200x200}
...

If I make a second conky just for the image, then everything is fine. The image
is always updated.

Why in "only one Conky" the image is not updated?
Who knows what?   hmm

Re: Show us your conky

Thank you, @ceeslans

I think I have tried "All" variants known to me with the arrangement of the retrieval in the conky on lithium/openbox and plasma/ kde. smile

What deffinitively works is the variant preferred by @loutch with lua.
e.g.

...
    lua_load = '~/.conky/lua/image.lua',

};

conky.text = [[
...
${lua fDrawImage $HOME/.conky/ConkySatMap/satir-1.png 10 500 200 200 0}

Tonight I will follow your suggestion again.

As I said, it is the same result, the image is not updated by Conky.

The files.  big_smile
They come from this archive, which is already ~10 years old.

olgmenPack.th.jpg Link

From it are needed:
- from the directory font the font SL Zodiac Icons.ttf
- from the directory scripts
  astro.lua, clock+zodiac.lua, rings.lua and text.lua

The Conky configuration file clock_conkyrc is in Conky_Version 1.9

Re: Show us your conky

^^@loutch,

Mon avis.  big_smile
-------------------------------------
wouldn't it make more sense to say goodbye to radiotray-ng and go with audacious instead?  wink

I would suggest that.
I'm not sure, but Teo would have to build the radiotray-ng package in archlinux from AUR, while he can stay here in bunsenlabs with audacious. Here in debian is also more man power....

My opinion.   big_smile

Re: Show us your conky

Hello Unklar

Eigentlich ist es nur der Teil der Forschung, der geändert werden muss.

Die Artist.txt-Datei kann mit Hilfe von Audacious , Clementine oder ähnlichem erzeugt werden.

In fact, it’s just the research part that needs to be changed.

The file artist.txt can be generated by audacious , clementine or other.

Re: Show us your conky

^Je suis conscient de cela.
Je le pensais plus du point de vue de Teo, car il voudra le tester...  Pour lui faire gagner du temps.

J'espère vraiment qu'il pourra s'en occuper une fois de plus.  wink

-----------------------------------------------------------
^That is already clear to me.
I meant that more from the point of view of Teo, because he will want to test that...  For reasons of saving time for him.

I really hope that he can take care of it again.   wink

thinkfan

sudo apt install thinkfan
sudo echo "options thinkpad_acpi fan_control=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/thinkfan.conf
sudo modprobe -v thinkpad_acpi
insmod /lib/modules/4.19.0-14-686/kernel/drivers/char/nvram.ko
insmod /lib/modules/4.19.0-14-686/kernel/drivers/platform/x86/thinkpad_acpi.ko fan_control=1
sudo nano -w /etc/default/thinkfan
and
START=yes
write in
sudo systemctl enable thinkfan.service

reboot

thinkfan provides an /etc/thinkfan.conf with these values of a T61

(0,	0,	55)
(1,	48,	60)
(2,	50,	61)
(3,	52,	63)
(4,	56,	65)
(5,	59,	66)
(7,	63,	32767)

This may have to be adapted to your own ThinkPad by trial and error. Mine currently looks like this

(0,	0,	56)
(1,	54,	62)
(2,	55,	63)
(3,	56,	64)
(4,	59,	66)
(5,	62,	67)
(7,	67,	32767)
