Thanks, cinnamon has been a fun diversion. In spite of using a bit of RAM, or maybe because of it, it seems very snappy, the animations are fast and smooth. I definitely prefer it to GNOME with extensions.

On the left is antiX19
Through antiX I got to know and love fluxbox many years ago. I was simply thrilled by the simplicity of the configuration, the look and of course the round corners of the menu.

On the right side is antiX17 with the sid-repos.
This experiment has been running for over a year now. I installed the base-ISO, set the repos to sid during installation, updated the system and activated the repo for the siduction (kernel). If already sid, then properly.
If someone says oops, hmm, siduction = systemd, antiX = SysVinit   you just have to pay attention to what apt tells you, then you'll be fine. 

edit: I have looked again, I started with antiX-M10 and I found a picture of M11 too. (M10, M11, that was the name of antiX back then)
Those were linux times... I still have the laptop today.

Gentoo. Slackware. CrunchBang. siduction. Void. antiX. sabayon. Even the distro names are legendary.

Except for xfdesktop. Why name almost everything xfce4-* and then have a few random names for important desktop components? Makes no sense to me.

Windows Terminal Preview with 'command palette' and 'retro effect' enabled, also featuring split panes. This thing is geting really cool, well interesting. Using Zenburn color scheme.
