Hikari runs pretty smooth. I've used cwm in the past, so I'll probably customize it a bit more. Right now just using it with wofi to launch applications.

There are also waybox and wayfire -  I don't know if there are deb packages for them yet.

Hikari looks interesting, promising.
Although I believe I'll be able to use openbox/Xorg for many years still...

Good to see waybox is getting some love, half a year ago it looked worse.
But even so, it still doesn't look very good. Looking around the repo, it seems it doesn't do much besides rendering openbox themes. No rc.xml, no keybinds or actions etc...

No conky,.. it is a notification, triggered at song start/change by audacious' desktop notifications plugin.
Using 'dunst' as notification-daemon (replacing xfce4-notifyd which is default in MX).
Let me know if you want my configuration settings [~/.config/dunst/dunstrc]
