August 2019 Screenshot Thread

Welcome to the monthly BL Screenshot thread! We hope it inspires you to customize your dekstop.

Please use thumbnails. Do not embed images larger than approx 250x250px (62,500px) into posts, use thumbnails linking to a hosted image instead. Thanks!

We recommend https://scrot.moe (free registration required) for image uploads. After uploading your image, click "Embed codes" and copy/paste the "Thumbnail image (linked) BBCode" at the bottom of the page, done.

To open the posted scrot.moe thumbnail fullscreen in Firefox, scroll down to the Download icon on the right (next to Like and Share), right-click it and choose "Open Link in New Tab" to open the screenshot in a new browser tab, then switch to that tab.

scrot.moe was created and is maintained by our very own mrneilypops, a long-time forum member.  Thank you very much, mrneilypops!

Immitating the voice of Rod Serling:

Why do the OP's of this monthly thread never include a screenie in the OP?

WARNING: You are entering into the August Screenshot Thread!

And just for fun: The Obsolete Man (BEST), which has absolutely nothing to do with August or Screenshots.

So as not to distract from reading the forum rules and recommendations about posting a screenshot.  8o

Scrot from LotR: The Fellowship of The Ring. I believe that is Isuldur, but it might be Sauron. I wasn't strictly paying attention, I find the second film to be the most engaging one.

My 3 fave fantasy trilogies, fave films from each...

Star Wars (2, don't argue) The Empire Strikes Back

Hellraiser II: Hellbound

LotR (2): The Two Towers

Just waiting for that sequel to David Lynch's Dune to add it to the list. And I don't mean the new one coming out by Villeneuve. Did I say 2049 was a great film? I did, I remember. I must have been high. I was, I remember.

Gandalf falling with the Balrog at the beginning of The Two Towers...

Read the books way way back when.  The three movies were awesome!

Now I must rewatch
