I gave up on DA and unixporn as I wanted to do more in depth creative stuff like design, themes and photography. Used to be https://www.deviantart.com/lovelybacon but it stole too much time.

Thanks but I did make the new password with one hand over my eyes and the other doing patterns on the keyboard, twice, that I have no hope of remembering. I'm happier now that I have time to really get into things I like. smile

Re: Wallpapers

^ So, screenshot raster traced to vector, resized and cropped to 1920x1080, then exported back to PNG. This is Roy.png (ignore the image size, my archive has it right)...

Roy.png

This first set includes 3 other walls: Rachel, EyeWorld and Bicycle...

This is not raster-traced.
It's an SVG with an embedded PNG.
You can look at it in geany.
Relevant part:

  <image
     y="0"
     x="-0.46875"
     id="image10"
     xlink:href="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAABVYAAAMACAIAAABAXKuVAAAAA3NCSVQICAjb4U
... etc.

So it's kinda exactly the original PNG.
Sorry.

Looking at the other images, EyeWorld.png could have been made from a raster-traced SVG. The SVG would have been much larger than the original PNG.
Do you still have that one?
How did you trace it?

Re: Wallpapers

You're right, the original png didn't get deleted before exporting. No apology necessary, I don't argue with facts, they always win.

Right again, Eyeworld came out properly. Traced via Inkscape (Path>Trace Bitmap...)

Here's the SVG file...

Re: Wallpapers

If I link the image instead of embed it, it works. Here's Rachel.svg...

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Lcl2cs … sp=sharing

Path>Trace Bitmap...>Multiple Scans>Colors, 256 scans, yes stack, no smoothing, keep background image.

@brontosaurusrex
I really like this whole "floating" bunsenflame concept.
Especially the 2nd one, with the near-lithium theme colors, is excellent!
