W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

I am obviously updating from CB Waldorf 7. Just updated to debian 8. Would be nice to have the bunsenlabs repository working. I got my printer working so I am not getting a stroke any-time soon.

EDIT: I have been hacking and slashing cb before to slim my system, maybe I broke a few old pipes, but I was thinking this would be a new pipe-system.

How *exactly* did you do this?

The only *official* method of installing BunsenLabs is from a live ISO image or from a Debian jessie minimal netinstall and a script.

If you have followed this method (note my warning at the top of the thread) then we may have trouble helping you here.

Re: [SOLVED] W: Failed to fetch http://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/...

No I locked my BIOS to prevent my co-workers from hacking my computer so I don't allow any pre-defined installation scripts. Now I do everything as manually as possible so I can hack in my own personal flavor.

I updated from weezy to jessie by updating my sources.list to the following:

sekreteraren@FEMA:/etc/apt$ cat sources.list
## CRUNCHBANG - BUNSENLABS
## Compatible with Debian Wheezy, but use at your own risk.
## DEBIAN
deb http://ftp.se.debian.org/debian jessie main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian jessie-updates main contrib non-free

## DEBIAN SECURITY
deb http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates main
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates main

executed apt-get update followed by apt-get upgrade followed by a system reboot into Debian 8, then I proceeded with adding BunsenLabs repositories according to http://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/.

EDIT1:
I have other problems as-well

Re: [SOLVED] W: Failed to fetch http://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/...

Please post the output of:

cat /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*
apt-cache policy

Your method of "converting" #! to BL is completely unsupported and I'm not even sure if it will work properly.

EDIT: Your edit shows a known problem that occurs when switching #! Waldorf from wheezy to jessie.

Re: [SOLVED] W: Failed to fetch http://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/...

No Its working, I just have problems getting the repository package-scripts working for me. I can still add everything manually no problem, just cost me a few cup of coffee.

I posted my sources.list its above. There is another problem because I don't think BunsenLabs is the problem at first hand.

Please read my EDIT1 in previous post.

EDIT1: I removed the tint2 issue, now we are nailing this one.

My system obviously don't want to recognize the key I downloaded because of an invalid filename extension.

Please post the output requested.

By "working", I meant whether the system could be considered a "true" BunsenLabs system (ie, a system in which troubleshooting is relatively straightforward) or if it is a #!/jessie/BL hybrid.

EDIT: Did you verify and add the signing key for the BL repositories?

Re: [SOLVED] W: Failed to fetch http://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/...

of course, I did all of that. It is stated in the out-put of previous posts.

Yes thats an interesting opinion to state - I have been working with CrunchBang since 2013 developing my own system and now I want to cash my ticket to the BunsenLabs repository. I need the package-lists to work, but as you understand I have not developed them-myself because I am a manual-operator I don't usually run scripts so when I do, hey whats up, thanks for the coffee, what do you got for me. Thank you, I appreciate it.

Now here is my ticket

Repository pipe-system

No idea what this is, ignoring.

Purge the tint2conf package, it's probably a #! relict and was never in Wheezy or Jessie:

apt-get purge tint2conf

Next, remove the *.asc files from /etc/apt/sources.list.d to get rid ot the two 'N:' notices, after adding the key to apt using apt-key, they are not necessary anymore.

Lastly, run

apt-get install -f

and see if all conflicts are resolved.

I did all of the above, including changing my definition from pipe-system to package-script. My new out-put comes as no surprise to me.

Re: [SOLVED] W: Failed to fetch http://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/...

They're just warnings now.

If you edit the sources and comment out the duplicate lines (there are two sets in each list, for some reason) then the error should go away when you `apt-get update`

I did this, warnings are now gone. Thank you for your help.

Almost there now.

Re: [SOLVED] W: Failed to fetch http://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/...

Apparently I have to do everything manually, there are conflicting data from Crunchbang but my system is working at optimal conditions, the best part is I am connected to the BunsenLabs repository-system. I have a few things I would like to work more on, other than this I have bl-Hydrogen-rc1-amd64.iso installed on one of hackerspace other machines and its working brilliantly.

In short, no other distribution in my experience comes as clean as CB and BL have, in my most humble opinion; the #! spirit is one hell of a system-cleaner.
