[Solved] Change apps linked to browser/text editor shortcuts

Could someone point me in the right direction to change the default app from Geany to Leafpad which I just installed for the text editor taskbar icon?

Thanks

On the menu: System > Edit Debian Alternatives > bl-text-editor

BTW (for anyone who finds this thread later) if you want to do it via the terminal, try this:

sudo update-alternatives --config bl-text-editor

Re: [Solved] Change apps linked to browser/text editor shortcuts

Let me add to that:

man update-alternatives

is an excellent read.

Where you will find these two commands that are very good to know:

update-alternatives --help

It is a little more concise than "man" and finally "what your system has" available:

update-alternatives --get-selections

To actually do anything ... as johnraff showed, you need "sudo"
