[SOLVED] Adding text editor to update-alternatives

Hi there folks!

I added Visual Code to my install and would like to use it for bl-text-editor.  I tried using update-alternatives but code isn't listed as an option.

-----------------------------
schwim@schwim-vm-bls:~$ sudo update-alternatives --config bl-text-editor
There are 2 choices for the alternative bl-text-editor (providing /usr/bin/bl-text-editor).

  Selection    Path                    Priority   Status
------------------------------------------------------------
* 0            /usr/bin/geany           40        auto mode
  1            /usr/bin/bl-cli-editor   25        manual mode
  2            /usr/bin/geany           40        manual mode

Press <enter> to keep the current choice, or type selection number:
-----------------------------

How would I go about adding it to the list of oprtions?  It's started via the terminal with code.
