Best way to uninstall dropbox that was installed via bl-welcome?

Heya folks!

Gonna move my stuff over to the mega app and would like to fully remove the dropbox client that was installed via the welcome script.

Thanks for your time!

Re: Best way to uninstall dropbox that was installed via bl-welcome?

I did find that Damo, which fails on the very first step:

schwim@schwim-vm-bls:~$ dropbox stop
bash: dropbox: command not found

I figured because it was installed via the welcome script there must have been some changes made to the default install.

The command for Dropbox is dropbox.py [args], which by default should be in $HOME/bin

$ dropbox.py --help
Dropbox command-line interface

commands:

Note: use dropbox help <command> to view usage for a specific command.

status get current status of the dropboxd
throttle set bandwidth limits for Dropbox
 help provide help
 stop stop dropboxd
running return whether dropbox is running
 start start dropboxd
filestatus get current sync status of one or more files
ls list directory contents with current sync status
autostart automatically start dropbox at login
exclude ignores/excludes a directory from syncing
lansync enables or disables LAN sync
sharelink get a shared link for a file in your dropbox
proxy set proxy settings for Dropbox

It looks like there is a typo there - it should say "dropbox.py help <command>"

Slightly OT/
It would be possible for the BL Dropbox installer to install ~/bin/dropbox.py as ~/bin/dropbox instead. Would that be preferable?
