@Nili,
Nice work on your theme. Bright background GTK2 themes destroy my eyes at night, I actually started modifying them for that very reason and because I couldn't find one that was both dark and subdued but still functional. I also like the moderate color you've chosen for your font.

@Nili: I never use black&white. It's hard to read/find things. I prefer some sort of grays. I used to love the krita themes when I was using KDE. They came in a different set of greys from light (too light) to dark (black). I used to switch three of them depending of the light, but lived mostky on the 50% theme. I should grab the colors they used there. Awesome readability without eye strain. Your theme looks promising. Though those dark folder icons over dark background never work for me. Finding the right icon set for dark themes is always the hardest part.
BTW. is that spacefm?

When highlighting a menu position, only the text colour gets changed.
That's sweet.

Thank you Panda, Snap for sharing your comments.
I really wanted to change bright, white, gray themes, been using those colors since almost a year, just to make a fresh changes for GTK. The colors icons did not last long
Perhaps i'll turn back intro gray later.
Found another fine icon pack for spacefm
Credits authors on lxappearance Thanks!

Bright background GTK2 themes destroy my eyes at night
To each his own, I find reducing screen brightness at night does the trick. A light-background GTK theme not only has the advantage of being more usable with some apps, but it's less of a shock when you navigate to a web page with a white background.
No, he can't sleep on the floor. What do you think I'm yelling for?!!!

@Nili: Thanks, buddy!
PS, You linked spacefm too. Great. Maybe some more guys join the club. The best file manager in GTK-land IMHO.

Agree, I feel sorry for those who lose chances to have a better File Manager. Lighter and Independent
I don't think to substitute with something else in terms of GUI.
