Solved large mouse pointer

This is a bit strange not a big deal just a little annoying, not sure how this happened or if anyone else has had the same problem after i install palemoon or midori browser i have a problem that any browser i open after i have enlarged mouse pointer that returns to normal size as soon as the pointer moves of the browser it returns to normal size.
why is it only some browsers that make this happen i like midori because its a light fast browser as i am a bit short of ram

^  How did you change the size of your mouse pointer?

Re: Solved large mouse pointer

Palemoon and Midori are likely compiled with GTK2 meaning that they have no native support for HiDPI and appropriate scaling, unlike GTK3-based applications.

Midori in Buster/Lithium will be built against GTK3 and thus the problem should go away when upgrading.

Do you perhaps have a HiDPI monitor/are running at a very high resolution?

Re: Solved large mouse pointer

No it's an old lcd monitor on a laptop the gtk2 problem
But if I run budgie instead of openbox the problem goes away I just do a fresh install when lithium has a test iso
Thanks for the help

Re: Solved large mouse pointer

It also has something to do with running a desktop settings daemon or not.
BL does not, GTK3-based DEs probably do.

And I was wondering why I couldn't reproduce it in my buster/midori set up!
