Freezing on shutdown

Hey guys! Just got BL working on my laptop, dual booting with Windows. My only issue now is my BL install freezes when I run shutdown now or reboot in terminal... Any ideas? Same behaviour when I click shutdown in the UI.

Adding acpi=off to default grub causes the system to reboot normally. So something with ACPI? Worth note, I'm using 4.19.0.0-0.bpo.5-amd64 as my wifi wouldn't work without updating.

I can confirm using the stock kernel, the computer reboots fine.

Hello,

Maybe you can get some more info from the logs....

Error messages and logs are redirected to the fourth console. You can access this console by pressing Left Alt+F4

So when your installer freezes, try to go there and see if something pops up.
