Hello all
I have installed Debian 10 on my new laptop but it is not recognising wifi, and it doesn't have a slot for a cable to connect to the internet!
I really should have done more research before buying it.
Can you please help me to get the wifi working?
Thanks for reading.
Marianne

Sorry I have taken so long to get back to you.
The output was:

You can download the firmware needed for that intel wireless here https://packages.debian.org/buster/all/ … i/download on your phone or another device and transfer the file to the laptop and install and reboot. Im pretty sure firmware-iwlwifi will be the right one for your wifi card.
Install like below.
sudo dpkg -i firmware-iwlwifi_20190114-2_all.deb

Your welcome mariannemarlow.
Good link there ohnonot. That info might be better off as its own sub forum for easier navigation maybe?
