Proxy configuration

Do you know any GUI program to change my proxy settings easily, like gnome-control-panel?

Re: Proxy configuration

Yes for the browser. I have installed chrome and when I try to change the proxy it says that proxy settings must be changed on the system settings.

Re: Proxy configuration

OK, we'll have to wait for someone who knows what they're talking about with this.

Post how you installed Chrome, was it via the BunsenLabs/Openbox right-click menu?

Re: Proxy configuration

the only way I am able to apply system wide ip settings (because gnome control panel is missing...) is by using

https://github.com/metatrevor/ubproxy/tree/master
http://geektalesbygauravojha.blogspot.c … buntu.html

you need to log-off once though!
