^ @hathor: as someone who has had wallpapers ripped off by wall sites, I consider it as good etiquette if there was at least an attribution! digitaljames on Deviantart

You gents are the best. After all the nonsense, jaw-dropping, late-stage capitalism politics I watch in the US, it's truly refreshing to be able to turn it off and just enjoy customizing Linux and see other custom setups and share walls, themes, icons, configs, and WM/Desktop and distro info.
Sorry to mention politics, let's not discuss it.

Ok. My extremely brief 'kinda political' career had to do with work unions, so one falls into this triangle between workers, bosses and union.
And i quickly realized I can't connect in any decent way to any 3 of them.... (/me a lil dot light years away from that triangle), so why care if one is unable to change the things to 'better' (for workers).
Now in the case that one is actually able to change things (for the better), it's usually the wrong things and the wrong way (and it may just turn out for the worse).
p.s. Also what ppl forget is that active politics requires enormous know-how about rules, documents, ways to navigate that mess, legal issues, various unknowns. Also a lot more time that one would think to make at least half-decent decisions (just to later realize that they were actually legally wrongly worded, or one is just over-voted). And it everything clicks perfectly the results are usually as tiny as if ant would try to save the Titanic.
p.s.2. ^ Now make the movie about this lil story if you can.
p.s.3. Point: Month or two of active politics may make you never wanna think/listen/debate politics again.
