Hi, it's my first time tryng to install bunsenlabs, right after selecting the disk partitioning method I just get to an empty window and it won't proceed with the formatting, if I press alt+ctrl+f4 there's an error getting spammed
Urs/bin/tail: cannot allocate memory

How much RAM have you got.
Does the text installer work?

I have 4 gigs of Ram. I tried using the text installer too but I get an empty blue screen while I partition with the same error as before. I always have an error getting spammed in the console (pci bus express, something like that) whenever I try to use or install any Linux distro but I always managed to finish the installation and I just stopped the spam by adding pci=nomsi to my grub file so I don't know if it matters in this case.

Ok. Not sure what the issue is.
Have you tried changing the boot parameters (to add nomsi) during installation?

Which ISO image and download method did you use, and how did you transfer it to USB?
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

What model machine are you installing on, and when was it made?

Ok, I managed to install it by adding pci=nomsi to the boot parameters (never had to do that before) but now once I boot I get missing modules (cat /proc/modules: ls /dev) and ALERT! /dev/sdb2 does not exist. Dropping to shell.

When you added boot parameter, did you change anything else by mistake - such as root=<whatever>
Offline
I'm pretty sure I did not change anything else.
Maybe the automatic partitioning messed up something?
I think I'll try to do some manual partitioning.

Good idea.
