Re: November 2015 Screenshots

Please, stop showing me WMs goodness LOL. I should be learning vi and python instead of fiddling with WMs... But I frigging love it!

Looks great, gako.

Finally battered xmobar into submission:

I think I actually prefer XMonad/xmobar over dwm yikes

Re: November 2015 Screenshots

^ is that desktop indicator a xmobar plugin, or output from the xmonad.hs? If it's an independent plugin, you have a link for it?

That's the StdinReader -- I think it's built in.

Here's my .xmobarrc:

Config {
      font = "xft:Cantarell:size=10:bold:antialias=true"
    , bgColor = "black"
    , fgColor = "#bfbfbf"
    , sepChar = "%"
    , alignSep = "}{"
    , template = "%StdinReader% }{ %battery%  •  %date% "
    , commands =
         [ Run Battery       [ "--template" , "Battery: <acstatus>"
                             , "--Low"      , "10"        -- units: %
                             , "--High"     , "80"        -- units: %
                             , "--low"      , "red"
                             , "--normal"   , "orange"
                             , "--high"     , "green"

                             , "--" -- battery specific options
                                       -- discharging status
                                       , "-o"   , "<left>%"
                                       -- AC "on" status
                                       , "-O"   , "<fc=#dAA520>Charging</fc>"
                                       -- charged status
                                       , "-i"   , "<fc=#006000>Charged</fc>"

       , Run Date            "%d %B   •  <fc=#ffffff>%H:%M</fc>" "date" 30
       , Run StdinReader

I promised myself after I'm done with my cursor set, back to the python books with me.
I wish there was a way to lock myself out of installing window managers and editing their configs.

Oh yeah... self control. dang it

@Dobbie03, is this scaled down? (Isn't native res of 4k monitors at 3840 x 2160 ?)
