Working on some cursors, still lots to do. The ibeam/xterm cursor is a transparent block
which is nice for selecting text.
bitmap font is -*-tamsyn-medium-r-normal-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
been using that for awhile and really like it.

As usual with the not widely known small WMs, the man pages are your best friends. Both man openbsd-cwm and man cwmrc. The first run might be quite discouraging. The minimal defaults are really minimal barely allowing to do anything. But once you start discovering features and populating your cwmrc it's addictive. I can post or PM my config as a starting point if you want.
Pay attention to the so-called groups. They are the workspaces. Ranger is great TUI file manager if running the X. Don't forget to add mouse support to it (and to nano). feh and mpv/mplayer play nicely with ranger. If you want previews in ranger (w3m-img) ditch compton. Even pseudo transparency in urxvt doesn't play nicely with previews but it looks so good I don't care if they come and go when the window looses focus. Using fading in urxvt is a nice/nicer replacement for compton. It has a nice built-in app launcher (exec command) with autocompletion. It can tile a bit too. Oh, and it's ultra fast.
IMHO the goal here is using CLI and TUI apps mostly. urxvt is a great partner. Play both with .cwmrc and .Xresources to make it shine. That's when it makes all the sense. If runing GUI apps mainly, i'll better go with the *boxes.
One more thing. Choose the keystrokes carefully. Many CLI apps use the same so they will collide. I had to redo a lot of them as I was finding conflicts. Even more if using tmux and stuff like that.
Sorry for the long post and derrailment.
EDIT: typos...

Thanks bro!
I posted in News, the jessie "nonfree" Live torrents are finally active. The Mate build is really nice IMO.

^ I've been downloading since you posted.
Also playing with the Flat Studio and Paper icons setup you showed. I feel a need for a matching Openbox theme, and tinting the Places icons
Time to play........

It's my first attempt at making my own OB themerc, GTKrc & Chromium .crx .. Have to say, I've learned more about my system and it's pretty damn rewarding!
Now, if I could just get Mocp the way I'd like..
