Just being picky here, but if you ask people to type "I understand" it really should handle the situation if *they* include the quotation marks as well (just saying).

(not that that bit about silly in my sig is accurate or anything, but still "literal minded" & all that.)

It's probably "fixable" by something along the lines of

  "I understand" || '"I understand"' 

if anyone figures it's worth it.
