If you stay inside CLUB-100 along with your favorite apps opened, then this is your personal achievement imo.

Not far away (a year ago exactly), when Pale Moon was around version 24+, his startup memory was 77MB.
With a few three favorite apps opening, I could make 100MB RAM. So, browser|File Manager|Music Player|torrenting (console, rtorrent a like)|terminal = 100MB.

Today it's 200MB Browswer|Music Player|terminal|torrenting|conky
Five version later 28+, Pale Moon now starts with 145MB, and for that i'm not part of Club-100. Unless i do not launch Pale Moon i am still there. CLUB-100 achieved with a little effort tweaking a Debian NETINST copy (expert install).

It also reached with x86-64, i did once but i am back with x86/32-bit, because my hardware is from 2007 which fit better for x86 LTS distro.

Well, days are gone for tweaking Linux in the name of Minimalistic Memory Usage, very few do it now, today Excessive MEM installed is common. Linux 4GB is standart for many distro/DE's/users , to make hard work some must have 8GB for staying safe. Investing on RAM is very cheap as it is the standard of time.

I believe some are just surviving of the oldest old tech tails, nothing more.
CLUB 100 shortly would be once upon a time.

However, Congratulation lowrider smile

You're always so helpful.
And thanks again for appreciate my messy themes.

Btw, I also use a really old hardware with 2Ghz dual core CPU, and can't afford a new one. I stick with Jessie too. I know your feeling :')

Your contribution to the community is so big that my part looks like a particles in the ocean mate Addy, You're the reason why i am on Openbox again. Thank you!

Re: October 2018 Screenshots

^ Man, it's been years since I listened to John Hiatt.
I've never actually tried cdparanoia (not that I can now as none of my systems have an optical drive anymore). Can it rip and maintain gaplessness? I assume the answer is yes since it extracts uncompressed PCM data directly.

Edit:
Oh, it's also been years since I tried i3. Glad to see its got the text alignment in the top status bar right now. Back then, text was always one pixel too high, which drove me quite mad. Yes, I'm superficial.
