Give me some noise (as wallpaper)

Simple noise, and its slow cousin noiseAndDirt. edit: And finally a more colorful plasma.

usage:

noise --help

Order of parameters does matter:

    noise color-preset brightnes saturation hue level-dynamics level-start
    # color-preset may be omited

examples:

    noise                           # default
    noise deep # with color preset 'deep'
    noise deep + # with color preset 'deep' and 10% brighter
    noise - +++                     # default, but 10% darker and 30% more saturated
    noise deep _ +++++ _ + ---      # preset 'deep' and more saturated,
                                    # slightly more dynamics and darker level start.
    noise deep -- ++ -------------- # A lil green

alias example:

    alias green='noise deep -- ++ --------------'

Re: Give me some noise (as wallpaper)

You could increase '+level 17%,25%' part (both numbers by same amount to keep dynamics).

edit: This is now handled by + and - switches, see --help.

Wonderful script. And only depends on convert from imagemagick and nitrogen.
The wallpapers created with your scripts look better than the one's I made with Gimp. smile

For 1920x1080 there is a download button on the right. (By the way, flameshot is a great app for screenshots like this.)
