tv as display

Im using my tv as screen.
The ic rd  is a Nvidia GTX650,
and I have installed the driver a discribe here................
Nvidia 390
The desktop centered but approx 25 dot to big in all directions.
In other distributions there is sometimes a Nvidia-GUI.
But a permanet fix would be better.
The tv is a standard HDTV 1920x1080.

isn't this something that TVs do?

i think you should see if your TV can be adjusted accordingly.
if not, maybe a search can help:
