Re: file manager thunar frquently freeze

Considering that the Thunar doesn't freeze for most of the user, I believe that something is 'fishy' on your side.

Do you experience increased CPU load during the Tunar freeze? (For example, I know that Thunar can freeze a bit when it tries to mount and read a large external USB volume ...)

Postpone all your duties; if you die, you won't have to do them ..

Thunar is a stable file manager that is small, fast and does not require many dependencies.

PCManFM and SpaceFM are 2 common alternatives...

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Re: file manager thunar frquently freeze

Thank you i am trying now pcmanfm, which is fine.

I am sorry that it appears to be my machines only that thunar frequently crashes.

I have had that though many versions of Bunsenlabs, not just the current version.

I always regarded thunar as unstable.

also see hhh's recent posts, they have reported a similar problem.
