How to install icons Bunsen on Debian openbox (solved)

Hello,

In order to build openbox on Debian Buster I am using some scipts "Bunsen" like :
pipemenus , conky , themes.
I would like to install icons in appearance. How to do that?

it depends how the icons are shipped.
usually you download the whole theme, archived, to ~/.icons or ~/.local/share/icons, then extract.
this should leave you with a new folder containing the icon theme.
there must be a file called 'index.theme' just inside this folder.
so you have to look inside the extracted folder if the structure is as required.
e.g., if the icon theme is called Breeze:

tree -L 1 ~/.icons/Breeze
/home/ohnonot/.icons/Breeze
├── cursors
└── index.theme

lxappearance needs to be restarted to show the newly installed icons.

BunsenLabs uses the Paper icon theme, we customize it slightly in our own repo (status icons, login "penguin flame" user-icon, and our distro logo)...
