Epson scanner stopped working

Using Bunsenlabs Hydrogen

I have an epson Stylus CX4600 printer/scanner
It was working fine until recently and now I can't use the scanner with simple-scan or gscan2pdf.

I have been trying to use Sane's debugging facilities, but haven't been able to find the driver for this so I can find the manual page.

I'm not sure what has happened to cause it to stop working and don't know enough to figure this out.

Can we please see the output of

apt policy

We have a new release out (called "Helium"), you could try the "live" session and see if things work there.

If they do then you may have misconfigured something.
