Hi,
as I'm "lucky" to have a HiDPI display machine at my hands I installed Helium alpha6 and made some tweaks for the 3200x1800px sized screen.
What I did in brief:
backported HiDPI stuff from upstream Greybird
resized window stuff
added appropriate size values.
For more details see the README. You can get the whole theme stuff and installation instructions at Github.
As this is a first tryout so to say I'd be happy to get any comments and/or bug reports especially from people having a HiDPI display.
Cheers!

I am glad to see this. I modified the base Beam theme for my Surface Pro IV but it is a pretty rough draft.

If you have anything to add to my tweakings feel free to send a pull request.

I would quite like it if we added the Beam-HiDPI folder to our BunsenLabs theme package, would that be OK?

Yes. I think it is time we start considering HiDPI screens as best as we are able. It has been on my mind, I just did not consider it a priority, given all the other irons I have in the fire

For me it's okay if more people have tested it. I only have one HiDPI device so there might be issues on smaller/different resolutions.
Given that HiDPI is often a mess in various distributions I want to avoid replicating the with BL. ;-)

^ I'll test it out on the Surface Pro IV tomorrow morning. It runs at 2880 x 1600 native, I believe.

I've been testing this out on my Surface Pro IV running through a VirtualBox instance and I must say that so far, it is looking great!

If nobody reports any problems in a day or two, I'll add bunsen-beam-hidpi to bunsen-themes so it will be available as an option. Thanks vinzv!

I made two pull requests (bunsen-themes, bunsen-conky) to make integration easier.
For tint2 I wasn't sure where to place the pull request? tint2/master branch?

Your tint2rc can be added to /usr/share/bunsen/skel/.config/tint2/ via the bunsen-configs package, here is the relevant page:
https://github.com/BunsenLabs/bunsen-co … nfig/tint2
I would call it "tint2rc-hidpi" but the choice is yours
Thanks!
