Based on Ubuntu 10.10? Obviously they've been sacrificing devs to the dark lord. Seems like there are none left.

Gimp plugin did all the work, I just tried to make the color fit to the orange redish glow of neon.
Thanks anyway!

Probable the only distro I've seen that uses vtwm , but even then so no m4 implementation.
Really like it though! Good mention.

OpenBSD has twm(1) in the base system (*cue groans all round*)
I keep meaning to steal your configs -- your TWM set up is a work of genius!

Thx HoaS!
If you've spent any considerable amount of time with TWM I understand your groans lol.
Many short comings, but yay we have another ancient beast that sprouted from TWM...
VTWM (Virtual Tabbed Window Manager) That's what I run for a good while.
It improves ten-fold on what twm did.
Thought there is a matter of understanding m4 ( GNU m4 macro processor )
to really see how VTWM can shine.
One hell of a modular, no cruft wm.
I'll share my setup soon,

I'm sorry gako, the groans were supposed to refer to my non-stop BSDspam
TWM is a lovely window manager.

Haiku OS, A interesting name for an OS. Haiku (俳句) (plural haiku) is a very short form of Japanese poetry.
Alpine Linux, Beautiful name like all mountainous places. Great distro, I have not tried it yet, but I feel it is interesting.
VOID, resembles a lot with the Canadian metal band VOIVOD. Many times i see the OS name reminds me the band.

does anybody remember a comic of a depressed linux nerd/coder, and an actual distro named after him or the comic (made by the woman who made the comic)?
for the heck of it i cannot remember the name.
iirc it was (is) on sourceforge.
sth like "bleak linux" or "pointless linux" or "depressedbian"...

I think Netrunner is a catchy name, and KAOS was brilliant for a KDE centric distro. Also, my first love will always be Slackware.
"A graphic representation of data abstracted from the banks of every computer in the human system. Unthinkable complexity. Lines of light ranged in the nonspace of the mind, clusters and constellations of data. Like city lights, receding."

hell yes, i found it!
i just put my own question into the search engine... duh.
anyhow, here it is: SadOS.
you have to see this in context, of course.
PS: the fake video resumé: "Other skills (party skills): You name any letter of the alphabet, I'll tell you a Linux distribution that starts with that letter"...
