I've been having this problem for a while now and I can't seem to find a solution. Whenever I start my Samsung ATIV Book 2 - 270E4E-KD2 without connecting my Fortrek keyboard and my E-blue mouse first, there's a small chance that all 3 USB ports will shutdown and I can't seem to make them working again unless I restart, which takes more time than usual (6 to 10 minutes to reach target shutdown, another 5 to actually turn off) when it happens (with the keyboard and mouse unplugged). Usually, there's also a VGA plugged in for a Samsung monitor, but it happens regardless of it.
During the issue I tried the lsusb command, but it won't respond.
It happens regardless of updates too. Using BunsenLabs GNU/Linux 8.9 (Hydrogen) x86_64. Kernel 3.16.0-4-amd64.
This morning it happened again, but this time it was right after I plugged the power cable.
I made a copy of my syslog file from around the time it happened:
https://pastebin.com/zubtJCAS
This never happened when Windows 8.1 was installed for 4 years.
I've also found this somewhat similar issue from another user on Lubuntu, but no solution.

Rebooted after updating the kernel. Logged in, plugged and unplugged usbs multiple times and so far no problem. It think this issue is solved. Thanks.
